This
page provides a way to share an experience with others,
to ask questions or to make a comment, for example, on
the tools found in St. Benedict’s Toolbox or perhaps
on what’s found in this website.
Being a part of a community, as Benedict encourages
in his Rule, provides a way for us to support one another in
our spiritual journeys. Sharing helps us both clarify and understand
our experiences more fully and, in turn, can help others to learn
from us and to reflect on their own lives.
To participate
in this community we’ll be using what’s called
a “Message Board.”
If you are familiar with using these boards
or are ready to give it a try without further coaching, click here.

How to
use the "Sharing in Community" Message
Board
To Reach the Sharing in Community Message Board
When you’re
ready to go to the Message Board, you can click on this
icon>>
To Enter the Message Board Once you have reached the board, if
you’re not yet a member,
click on "Register" and follow the directions. You
will be sent an email asking you to confirm that you wish to
join. After confirming this through your own email, you’ll
be able to read and write to the message board. The email message
should be received by your email account instantly and will provide
a place to click back to the Message Board.
If you’re already a member, click on "Login" and
follow the directions
To Leave A Message Click on one of the "Forum" links.
Think of a Forum as a room where certain topics are discussed.
Click on "New Topic" to
get the screen to leave a new message. Enter the Message
Subject and, in the large
box, the message you wish to leave.
Finish by clicking on "Post Message," scrolling
down if you need to.
To View and/or Respond to Other Messages By choosing a Forum and then clicking on a message subject, you
can read a message that was left by another member and any
replies to that message.
To reply to a message just click “Reply” at
the top of the screen, enter your message in the box and
click on “Post Message.”
To Return to the Toolbox Annex
To come back to the Annex website, you click on St. Benedict’s Toolbox found in the upper left corner of the screen.
